Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated French Teacher to join a modern languages department.
You will inspire and motivate students to develop their confidence and skills in French, delivering engaging lessons that help students progress and develop a love for languages. You will plan and teach across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities for KS5 if applicable. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a French Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons to a range of abilities.
Create a positive, supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to participate and develop their language skills.
Assess, track and report on student progress.
Contribute to the wider modern languages department, including trips, clubs or enrichment activities.
Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and achievement.
Ideal French Teacher:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for French language and culture.
Be able to inspire, motivate and engage students.
Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a French Teacher.
Be a positive team player, committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
