Summary

Looking to do something that really matters?

Join Clean Slate as a Quids in! Coach and help people on low incomes take control of their money, improve their wellbeing, and move toward employment.
We’re looking for compassionate, proactive individuals to deliver remote coaching and guidance to people facing financial hardship. You don’t need to come from the advice sector; if you’re a good listener, a confident communicator, and care about making a difference, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Quids in! Coach, you’ll support individuals across the UK who are feeling the pressure of the cost of living crisis. You'll help them get better off financially and digitally; building skills, confidence, and resilience.

Your day-to-day will include:
- Making initial contact with new referrals via phone or email
- Coaching people one-to-one and in small groups online
- Supporting people to access digital tools and online advice
- Helping them explore job opportunities or better work
- Recording your work clearly and securely in our systems
- Spotting safeguarding or welfare concerns and responding appropriately

You’ll be trained in how to guide, not advise, and how to use our tools, systems, and frameworks to deliver consistent, quality support.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re someone who:
- Communicates clearly and professionally in writing and over the phone
- Knows how to build trust and tailor your communication style to different people
- Can manage your own caseload and handle admin with care and accuracy
- Is confident using digital tools and systems (you’ll need your own reliable internet connection)
- Understands the importance of boundaries, safeguarding, and data protection
- Enjoys empowering others, not doing everything for them
- Shares our mission to tackle inequality and promote financial resilience

Desirable, but not essential:
- Experience in coaching, support work, or related roles
- Knowledge of financial or digital exclusion issues
- IAG Level 3 or equivalent

Ability to speak an additional language, especially Bengali, Polish, or Romanian

If you’ve ever faced financial hardship or supported others through tough times, you may have just what it takes.

Why Join Us?
- Be part of a social enterprise making a real difference in people’s lives
- Flexible hours and remote working that fits around your life
- Full training provided - no previous advice or coaching experience required
- Supportive, values-led culture
- Be part of a national movement to close the digital divide and reduce poverty
