Summary
Position: Responsible Individual – RI
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Pay: £350 per day
Hours: Part time, 1 day a week
Rizq Recruit is seeking a Responsible Individual to oversee the effective running of a small children and young people’s residential home in Liverpool. This is a part-time role and is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and experience in residential childcare.

Responsibilities as a Responsible Individual:
• Oversee compliance with Ofsted and local authority regulations
• Conduct and review risk assessments
• Liaise regularly with the Registered Manager
• Provide supervision and guidance to the Registered Manager
• Offer leadership and strategic oversight
• Ensure systems (care, staffing, reporting) are effectively managed
• Act as the Line Manager to the Registered Manager
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care planning, and staff conduct
Requirements as a Responsible Individual:
• Experience in residential care for children
• NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)
• Level 5 qualification preferred (or willingness to work toward it)
• Strong knowledge of compliance, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks
• Confident working with a range of internal systems
• Leadership and team supervision experience
