We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to join our sports therapy and rehabilitation clinical team. In this role, you will supervise and support students working in our student-led clinics, providing injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation; injury prevention strategies; recovery advice and soft tissue treatments. You will also be responsible for sourcing and managing the external placement provision for the BSc Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation and MSc Sports Physiotherapy courses.

It is essential that you have a good honours degree in Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation or Physiotherapy and full Membership of a relevant professional body (BASRaT, SSST, STO, CSP).

We are seeking someone with a minimum of two years’ work experience in a range of therapeutic clinical environments. Experience in either supervising/educating or evaluating learners within clinical/practitioner environments would be beneficial, however is not crucial. Experience of NHS referral pathways would also be beneficial.

You must have excellent IT skills including experience of Microsoft applications, i.e. Excel, Word databases, and experience of managing and maintaining on-line client booking systems.

The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.

Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post will not qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
