Kapwell Ltd is a UK-based engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of process equipment for the energy and industrial sectors. As we expand our operations and focus on quality assurance, we are seeking a part-time assistant to support our ISO 9001 quality management efforts.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Quality Engineer Assistant with experience in ISO 9001 systems. This is a flexible, remote-based role, ideal for a freelancer or consultant who can support on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and updating ISO 9001 documentation (procedures, records, forms)
Support internal audits and corrective action follow-ups
Help coordinate quality reviews and compliance checks
Assist with supplier evaluations and quality data reporting
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and documentation
Requirements:
Proven experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
Familiarity with document control and quality audit processes
Strong written communication and organisational skills
Able to work independently and manage flexible working hours
Proficient in MS Office and/or cloud-based documentation platforms
Engineering or technical background preferred but not essential
Hours & Compensation:
Flexible, project-based hours ranging from 10 to 30 hours per month
Remote working – candidates from any location are welcome
Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed based on experience)
