Summary

Learning Mentor - Primary School
Location: Trafford
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time
Daily Rate: From £105 (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Trafford is seeking to appoint a full-time Learning Mentor to start in September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about pupil wellbeing and supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with individual pupils and small groups to help them overcome barriers to learning. You'll build strong, positive relationships with children who may be experiencing challenges in or outside of the classroom, supporting their emotional regulation, resilience, and engagement in school life. You'll also collaborate with the SENCO, pastoral staff, and teaching team to plan and implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and personal development.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a school or youth setting, alongside a nurturing, calm, and proactive approach. You should be confident supporting children with a range of social and emotional needs and have a good understanding of safeguarding and pastoral care. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential, and candidates must be fully compliant with RAC requirements.

This is a full-time role offering a daily rate starting from £105, with opportunities for continued professional development and training. You'll be joining a supportive school team dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

If you're ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and support their emotional and academic development, apply now via Senploy to be considered for this rewarding Learning Mentor position.

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2024) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable. Educato Limited is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Educato Limited acts as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
