Join a busy, fast-paced team as a Administrator, contributing to the delivery of a comprehensive business support service. This varied role will see you provide critical administrative support across several areas of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solve problems and develop solutions through appraising situations
- Collate, check, and organise returns
- Support continuous improvement of processes and procedures
- Create, update, and maintain files and records
- Respond to routine enquiries via the One Contact Centre
- Carry out digital tasks, including data input, complex word processing, and use of multiple software packages
- Take accurate minutes and maintain service mailboxes
- Prepare standard reports and process financial documentation
- Handle confidential, personal, and sensitive information
- Perform reception duties and assist the public with service-related enquiries
- Monitor and record expenditure
- Exchange and provide information to internal staff and members of the public
- Undertake general admin tasks such as mail handling, scanning, photocopying, and cash handling
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar business support or admin role preferred
- Strong digital and IT skills
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Awareness of data protection requirements
