Summary
Apprentice Fitter, technician and Driver
An opportunity has arisen here at Jones Login for an Apprentice Vehicle Fitter, Technician & Driver to assist with, learn and carry out the maintenance, repair and MOT preparation of our fleet of 15 mini-buses and coaches
In addition to the workshop duties listed above, occasional driving duties will be required.
The successful applicant will require an enhanced DBS before employment and undertake take PCV driving instruction and test when 18 years old.
You will work with our two current experienced motor vehicle technicians and attend a local college on a 1 day a week course for 3 or 4 years.
(City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Light/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles)
Previous vehicle mechanical knowledge and experience useful, but not essential, just a willingness and enthusiasm to learn and apply the knowledge.
This is a great opportunity for a local enthusiastic person to earn while they earn and gain a valuable vocational qualification.
