• The successful candidate will be expected to be a motivated leader, with excellent managerial and leadership skills, who has the drive and passion to create an inspirational learning and working environment, that continuously strives for the highest standards of quality care and has patient and staff safety at the forefront of the services and care provided.
• You will be supported in your role by the Matron and a dedicated team of medical and nursing staff.
• Clinical expert in Cardiology and role model.
• Leader – A visible and authoritative presence able to lead and manage the team and patient care, co-ordinating with the MDT to enable outstanding care to be given every time within available resources.
• Educator - able to identify and develop the potential in others.
Belgrave Ward is the main Cardiology Ward at St George's Hospital, it has 24 beds, highly specialized care and fast passed Unit.
As the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse we look for someone highly motivated and passionate about Cardiology, to lead the unit to deliver the excellent care and provide leadership and guidance to the team. Engaged with Matron and MDT to improve the care and the ward level, and always thrive to achieve more for the ward, staff and specially patients.
