Job Title: Mechanical/Plumbing Technician
Location: Manchester

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Level 3 Mechanical/Plumbing Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of mechanical and plumbing maintenance tasks across our facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and delivering high-quality service to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
-Perform routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems, including boilers, pumps, pipework, valves, and associated equipment.
-Install, repair, and service mechanical and plumbing components in accordance with specifications and technical drawings.
-Identify and diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and work from technical manuals.
-Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
-Ensure all work complies with current health, safety, and environmental legislation.
-Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
-Assist in the planning and execution of planned maintenance schedules.
-Work collaboratively with team members and liaise with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Support on-site commissioning and testing of mechanical and plumbing systems.
-Expected to join a 1 in 4 call out rota.
Person Specification:
-Level 3 qualification in Mechanical, Plumbing, or equivalent.
-Proven experience in mechanical and plumbing maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.
-Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
-Familiarity with diagnostic and testing equipment.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
-Full UK driving license is preferred.
-Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and continuous improvement.
-F Gas qualification would be desirable.
Desirable Skills:
-Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, or renewable energy systems.
-Knowledge of building statutory compliance requirements.
-Previous experience working on large-scale or complex systems.
