Summary
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
Help with meal preparation and assisting residents as required at mealtimes.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
Implement care plans effectively while respecting the dignity and privacy of clients.
Engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Attend social outings when necessary.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes. We use Nourish & Emar systems.
Experience
Previous experience in a care home setting is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
A good understanding of care plans and the ability to communicate effectively in English is required.
NVQ 2 in H&S is preferred.
Familiarity with IT systems will be beneficial for maintaining accurate records and communication within the team, especially Nourish & Emar systems.
