Job Opportunity: Production Operative – (Witham)
Location: Witham, Essex
Agency: Just Temps, proudly supporting our client.
Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 6:00am–2:30pm
Friday: 6:00am–2:00pm
38.25 hours per week (including a 45-minute daily break)
Pay: National Minimum Wage (Initial)
Potential to move to Level 3: £12.39/hour (upon successful employment offer)
About the Role:
We are currently seeking Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Witham. You’ll be supporting the production of high-quality products working within a close-knit team under the guidance of experienced supervisors.
This is a hands-on, full-time role requiring industry experience and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Be ready and present at your workstation ahead of shift start time.
Work to high quality and efficiency standards – “Right First Time, On Time, Every Time.”
Assist in the manufacturing of components.
Operate and maintain production machinery safely and effectively.
Follow company safety procedures and use PPE as required.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
Complete documentation accurately and within set timeframes.
Demonstrate flexibility by supporting various production areas as needed.
Adhere to company policies relating to Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by Team Leaders or Managers.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous manufacturing or production experience (essential).
Good attention to detail with a strong work ethic.
Handling of materials/components is required.
Willingness to be flexible with tasks and working hours if needed.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
