Summary

Office/Business Administrator
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Salary: £12.82 per hour
Working Hours: 8am-4pm - can be flexible

About the Role:
Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised Office/Business Administrator to join our team in Filton. This is a key role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office and providing administrative support across departments including HR, finance, and purchasing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls with a warm and professional manner
- Manage general office administration and ensure supplies (e.g., stationery, kitchen items, cleaning products) are stocked and ordered as needed
- Support HR with administrative tasks and maintain health and safety records
- Assist with report writing, invoicing, and processing expenses
- Book travel and accommodation for staff when required
- Provide ad hoc finance support and take on purchasing duties during staff absences
- Perform mini stock checks and maintain office equipment (e.g., photocopier supplies)

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Highly attentive to detail and well-organised
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Friendly and professional communication style
- Positive, can-do attitude and team-oriented mindset

Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience in an administrative or office support role
- Familiarity with HR processes (preferred but not essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience using systems such as Sage and Microsoft Dynamics (preferred but not essential)
