Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: Able to assess, develop and implement care for patients and donors undergoing apheresis by identifying physical, psychological, and social needs and maintaining contact with the patient and family throughout the pathway. Able to communicate very sensitive, complex information to patients, stem cell donors and their families conveying empathy, understanding, compassion and reassurance. Act as a first point of contact for patients, donors and their families requiring apheresis and providing expert advice related to all aspects of care. Use analytical and judgment skills to manage complex patient or family issues and in discussion with MDT take appropriate action in light of this assessment.
