Summary
Working Conditions The job is primarily Blakeney Surgery based, but you may be asked to work at Lydney Practice on occasion if required. Dispensary Duties: Ensure dispensing procedures are carried out adhering to Practice Standard Operating Procedures Participate in weekly monitored dose system orders (where applicable) Hand out prescriptions and dispensed items and collect payments where appropriate Deal with queries relating to prescriptions as necessary Ensure outstanding queries are explained and handed over to next shift as necessary Undertake DRUMs as required Respond to requests from Clinical members of the practice during surgery Ensure drug alerts are dealt with promptly Maintain a robust monitoring system of refrigerator temperatures Ensure incoming stock is dealt with promptly Maintain high standards of cleanliness on shelves and work surfaces Ensure dispensary equipment is kept clean and in good working order General Duties: Input and extract information from Practice computer system Participate in rota management to cover sickness and holidays Participate in extended hours rota (where applicable) Participate in staff and Practice meetings Undertake any training necessary to ensure continued safe and efficient performance Always observe health and safety guidelines Participate in the cleaning of the Dispensary Any other reasonable duties as necessary across the practice
