Summary

Logistics Manager - Contract
Location: Coalville
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 pro rata
Hours: Monday to Friday only (no weekends)
Contract: Full-time, 3-month contract
Start: ASAP

A manufacturing company in Coalville is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join on a short-term basis. You'll be responsible for managing warehouse and transport operations, leading a team, and keeping things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage teams across transport, loading, and materials

  • Oversee stock levels, delivery schedules, and supplier coordination

  • Control logistics costs and ensure efficient, safe operations

  • Maintain accurate stock records in Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Enforce Health & Safety processes and documentation

  • Support logistics strategy and process improvements

  • Liaise with 3PLs and handle supplier performance

What You Need:
  • Proven logistics/warehouse management experience in manufacturing

  • Experience managing teams and external logistics providers

  • Confident using Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Able to document and deliver process training

  • Organised, proactive, and commercially aware

  • Strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude
