We pride ourselves on leading for new, innovative and sustainable products and solutions, both for today and for a new era of building.To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to come and join our team at our Kevington Midlands Factory in Newcastle under Lyme, ST5 6BH.Key Responsibilities:The development and promotion through effective communication of Company, Factory and team plans and their focused implementation to achieve defined objectivesPeople Management, motivation and structured development of the team through performance review to ensure delivery of objectives through Team working.Rigorous application of the Ibstock Manufacturing system to deliver Continuous Improvement across all areas of ManufacturingImplementation of and adherence to all Company and Factory control procedures to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in Health & Safety, Environmental and QualityThe collection, assimilation and analysis of production and process data and its effective use to develop and achieve key targets and objectivesThe development of systems and standards to deliver world-class standards of housekeeping using the 5S principlesProcurement of production materials, goods and services within defined areas of the production environmentEffective interdepartmental liaison to achieve defined objectivesEssential Qualifications & Experience:A Proven track record in a continuous manufacturing environment at the level advertised or aboveA high degree of self-motivationThe ability to self-manage and adjust to changing business needsThe ability to understand, accept and achieve targets and deadlinesDemonstrable organisational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and proceduresLeadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the teamDemonstrable ability to implement structured problem solving techniquesAbility to work collaboratively and to communicate effectively across all departments and levels of the businessThink you can make a difference?
