Summary
Job Title: Part-Time Sales Administrator
Location: Aldridge, Walsall
Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: 24 hours per week over 4 days (Monday - Thursday)
Pay: £12.50 – £13.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
About the Company:
Our client, based in Aldridge, is a well-established manufacturer of injection moulded plastic components and assemblies, supplying a variety of industries across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their team on a part-time, temp-to-perm basis.
Role Overview:
Working closely with the Sales & Operations Director, you will play a key role in supporting the sales and customer service function. From order processing and invoicing to customer communication and reception duties, this is a varied position offering flexibility and the chance to become an integral part of a busy manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the relevant department or team member
- Respond to telephone enquiries and liaise with customers on pricing, quotations, and logistics
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Process sales orders and create delivery notes
- Check stock levels and update production planning accordingly
- Generate invoices using Sage Line 50 (SOP & POP modules)
- Undertake credit control duties including debt chasing
- Greet visitors and manage the reception area
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Sage 50 Accounts (SOP & POP)
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to analyse data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised with good attention to detail
- Previous experience in a sales admin or office support role preferred
