Location: This post is based at Link’s Edinburgh office. However, hybrid working is available with this role.
Salary: £46,560.00 - £58,254.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
Hours of Work: 35 per week, Monday to Friday however occasional out of hours work may be required.
Alternative working patterns and/or working arrangements will be considered.
The Role

The Infrastructure Specialist will become a key member of the Digital Services Technical Team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the organisation in a dynamic and complex environment. The primary focus is to deliver business-centric ICT services by supporting Link’s digital infrastructure, including virtualized server and network environments in Microsoft Azure, as well as software (operating systems, applications, and utilities) in a networked environment.
The role also involves working alongside the Senior Information Security Officer to uphold and enhance cyber security standards. In addition, the position operates within an ITIL Service Delivery framework, providing second line technical support for Digital services.
About You
Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject or with significant experience in a technical role, the role requires a Professional Qualification/certification such as AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator or actively working towards achieving it.
Significant experience of Azure networking, virtualized machines, configuring virtual networks and VPNs in a commercial environment is essential for this role as well as demonstrable experience of working within a large ICT department at a senior level.
The postholder will have experience of configuring and administering Microsoft Servicer operating systems and management computer and user settings in a domain environment using Active Directory, Entra and mobile device management tools.
