Summary
CNC Setter Operator
Location: Corwen
Salary: Up to £35,401.60 per annum
Shift Patterns Available: Nights: 6pm until 6am, Monday to Thursday
Join a great Manufacturing team in Corwen. Trek Recruitment is proud to partner with our client, a leading manufacturing company. Their state-of-the-art facility is in need of a skilled CNC Setter Operator to join their team.
ROLE
In this role, you’ll set up and operate advanced dual-turret CNC machining centres in a high-precision, high-volume production environment.
Interpret technical drawings and measure parts to exact tolerances.
Use Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and precision measuring tools.
Adjust processes based on measurement data to maintain quality.
Perform tooling setup, replacements, and routine machine maintenance.
Load and unload parts using input/output conveyors.
Operate supplemental equipment (engraving, flaw detection, hydraulic pressing).
YOU
Proven experience setting and operating CNC machinery.
Strong IT skills and adaptability to new CNC systems.
Knowledge of Siemens CNC and G-code programming (preferred).
Familiarity with CMM measuring and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
A proactive, reliable, and quality-focused mindset.
