With the ongoing successful growth of Kids Planet Day Nurseries Training Academy, we are pleased to announce we are looking to recruit MIS Assistants.

As the MIS Assistant this post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to play a pivotal part in our apprenticeship provision. The postholder will be the first line of response for MIS information.

Duties will include:

Working as an integral part of the Apprenticeships Team.
Support the MIS Manager to contribute to the provision of an effective, customer-focused MIS service with particular responsibility to ensure that the Academy operates a robust compliance matrix to facilitate full assurance to both external and internal auditors.
Ensure that all data returns are accurate and submitted timely.
Work closely with the apprenticeship team to ensure funding and audit compliance is followed.
Support the delivery team on a daily basis to ensure they are knowledgeable and informed of the apprenticeship and workplace funding rules for workplace delivery.
Support Managers, Team Leaders and Tutors to maintain high quality data for their learners.
Use a range of funding systems and validation tools (such as DSATS, FAM reports and DAS) to ensure funding claimed is accurate and optimised where possible.
Prepare and participate in external audits relating to learner records systems and data
as required.

Develop and maintain an in depth knowledge and understanding of the ESFA funding rules and funding methodologies and cascade knowledge to colleagues as appropriate.


The ideal applicant will possess:

Experience working an MIS role in Apprenticeships.
Good ICT Skills.
Working knowledge of PICS would be preferable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - particularly Excel.
Accuracy in updating records with tact, discretion, and respect for confidentiality (GDPR).
Effective personal organisation; with the ability to work as part of a busy team as well as using you own initiative.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving.
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.






This recruitment opportunity offers the successful candidate a competitive salary (dependent upon qualifications and experience) and pension whilst working within a highly professional training and education team. Full time positions available. This is a flexible hybrid role.
