Job Title: Site Manager – Passive Fire Protection

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and qualified Site Manager to oversee passive fire protection projects across North and East London. This is a key role within a reputable contractor specialising in fire safety works across residential, healthcare, and public-sector environments. The role will involve travel between sites, so flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations on multiple live construction sites

- Supervise fire-stopping, fire door installation, and compartmentation works

- Ensure full compliance with FIRAS standards and all relevant fire safety regulations

- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular H&S inspections

- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project alignment

- Maintain site records, progress reports, and oversee RAMS documentation

- Deliver work to high standards, on schedule and within budget

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Site Manager in fire protection or construction

- In-depth knowledge of passive fire protection systems

- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS

- CSCS card (Gold/Black preferred)

- Full UK Driving Licence – company vehicle provided

- FIRAS accreditation (preferred but not essential)

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Willingness to travel between project sites as required
