Summary:
The Electrical Development Engineer is responsible for creating training courses, supporting sales with equipment demonstrations, supporting the Service team with quality trouble shooting, technical documentation, leading the technical aspects of New Product Development and where specific electrical competence is required for our products.
Standard Activities:
Maintain a deep understanding of our products including their features, specifications, and applications.
Ensure a well-maintained fleet of equipment is available for customer demonstrations.
Ensure demonstration areas in Minworth and Kings Lynn are fit for purpose, kept tidy and safe to provide professional locations for customer visits.
Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on powered equipment, ensuring effective communication and understanding of key features and benefits.
Support marketing with creation of media content for powered equipment, ensuring the features and benefits, as well and functionalities of the equipment is communicated effectively and professionally to customers.
Lead technical aspects of NPD for powered equipment. Providing technical insights, testing prototypes, supporting customer field trials, creating quality documentation as well technical data, user manuals and specifications within the NPI process.
Support compliance in identifying and obtaining correct standards for new products within the NPI Process.
Stay informed about competitor and market activities, trends and latest developments that could affect the our equipment assortment. Take a proactive approach to identify opportunities for Existing Product Development, process improvements and media content execution that contribute to the continuous enhancement of products and services.
Support the business with technical expertise, investigations on warranty claims, quality issues and general trouble shooting of powered equipment and electrical queries.

• Min. Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
