Summary
The Living Well Rutland service includes Libraries, Health & Community Wellbeing and Adult Learning. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and systems, to be part of our vibrant and dynamic team. The role will also work with Children’s Social Care and Family Help teams.
About you…
You are an experienced administrator, who is organized and is able to set up and maintain elegant and simple processes that allocate staff cover in libraries as well as interfacing with services and the public, creating bookings, recording and collating information. You are passionate about supporting the residents of Rutland. You will have the following skill set:
Educated to A level or equivalent administrator experience
Experienced in supervising people and managing staff rotas
Experienced at setting up systems and processes to reduce the need for manual input.
Experience of tracking information and data.
A team player with the ability to be self-directed.
About the role:
This diverse and interesting role will be based in Oakham although, you may need to work from any of our locations across Rutland. You will support the operations within libraries and will work on a number of projects including Holiday Activities and Food. The successful applicant will work closely with all areas of the Living Well Rutland service and will report to the Service Manager.
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.
Please note a full driving licence is required for this role to enable travel to all Council sites across the county. You may be asked to work at any of our sites in Rutland.
