Summary

Dive Into Change: Join Swim England West Midlands as our Administrator

This role is a home-based working role, with the option to work in person with the team one day per week. Ideally the candidate would be West Midlands based, but not necessary. The role is fixed term for 9 – 12 months and is part time; 21 hours per week. The role will require some attendance at events or meetings outside of usual core working hours (evenings/weekends).

Are you passionate about customer service and providing a first-class administrative support to members and stakeholders? Do you thrive off ensuring clear reporting structures and organisational systems are in place? Fancy turning the tide on challenges like communication with members in a changing social media world?

Then it’s time to dive in.

We’re Swim England West Midlands, a region working alongside the national governing body for swimming, para swimming, diving, water polo and artistic swimming. We’re on a mission to make aquatic activity accessible for all.

Now, we’re looking for a Regional Administrator to help us champion that mission where it counts: working with our members, staff teams, volunteers and key partners.

What you’ll be doing:

Making waves developing our communication channels through our website, social medias and newsletter.

Driving forward administrative support for our events and programmes and across all sports — from contracts and venue bookings to watertight reporting and monitoring systems.

Providing administrative support to the Regional Management Board, specified groups and the wider regional team.

Provide basic financial administration and upkeep, supporting the Regional Finance Director and wider regional team.

Maintain and update regional databases, as well as making a splash with developing an annual calendar of workshops and education for our members.
