• Experience of working with SEN children or 1:1 working would be desirable, as well as using Read Write Inc to support phonics development.
• An ability to collaborate and work successfully as part of a team, communicating well with pupils, parents and carers.
• An ability to develop positive relationships with children, to understand their needs and encouragepositive attitudes to learning.

Whitehouse Primary School are looking to appoint two Level 2 Teaching Assistants who can make a difference to the learning of our pupils. You'll form positive relationships and play a key, rewarding part in improving the outcomes for our pupils. You may also work within our Alternative Resource Provision, or with pupils who have education, health and care plans (EHCPs).
The positions are part time, 32.5 hours per week and term time only plus 5 additional days.
Our school is one of eight primary and secondary schools within the NEAT Academy Trust family of schools. At the heart of our trust is the aim to nurture, educate, achieve and transform the lives of all young people within the communities we serve across the North East. We have a national research school, which aims to build and strengthen networks of schools throughout the region and help them access effective education research and implement it in everyday practice.
