Summary
We are looking for a Site Agent delivering southern based earthworks & drainage portfolio's. This role is interviewing ASAP and will be starting quickly following a successful interview.
Salary - £55k+ DOE
Industry - Rail
Pay Method - PAYE
Hours - Full time, some varied shifts due to nature of projects
Benefits - 20 days annual leave, rising by 1 day each year up to 25 days + bank holidays
The responsibilities of this role include:
* Ensuring safe delivery of works
* Supporting your team - mentoring, building, developing and supporting
* Creating and sustaining positive relationships with all stakeholders - clients, management, direct reports etc
* Assist with putting together initial programme
* Managing subcontractor relationships
* Monitoring progress and providing periodic reports
* Evaluate risks and manage requirements to satisfy them
* On-going communication with Contract Management and Commercial teams, raising issues as they may arise
* Setting and driving the pace of the project to ensure deadlines and targets are met
Qualifications and qualities required to be successful in this role
* Excellent industry knowledge
* Minimum 5 years' experience delivering earthworks & drainage projects on Network Rail Infrastructure
* Hold current PTS, SMSTS (or equivalent) and CSCS
* Strong communication skills at all levels and the ability to adapt communication skills dependent on the audience
* Ability to handle conflicting priorities across stakeholders and subcontractors
* Experience in producing Work Package Plans, Task Briefing
* Proven ability of implementing Safe Systems of Work
* Knowledge of both the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations
