Your new role
As a Supported Housing Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of housing schemes. Working closely with the Scheme Manager, you'll ensure that residents receive a responsive and high-quality service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising residents on tenancy, repairs, and rent matters.
- Conducting routine health and safety inspections.
- Liaising with contractors and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Maintaining high standards in communal areas.
- Supporting safeguarding procedures and responding to incidents.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Experience in customer service, ideally within housing, care, or community settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, positive, and solution-focused attitude.
- Basic IT and administrative skills.
- A good understanding of health and safety practices.
- A minimum of Level 1 qualification (GCSE or equivalent), with a willingness to achieve NVQ Level 2 within the first year.
