Summary
Job Title: Labourer with Asbestos Awareness Category A
Location: Canterbury
Key Responsibilities:
- Support site operations with manual labour tasks
- Safely work in environments where asbestos may be present
- Use and maintain respiratory protective equipment (RPE) correctly
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including asbestos safety guidelines
- Assist in the safe removal or disturbance of asbestos materials under supervision
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Valid Asbestos Awareness Category A certification
- Own respiratory mask suitable for asbestos work (must be brought to site)
- Previous experience as a labourer preferred but not essential
- Strong commitment to safety and following procedures
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
