Here at Serco, we are seeking a Buyer to join our Soft FM (Facilities Management) Procurement team. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a global business that makes a genuine impact every day. You'll play a key role in delivering value across Serco’s Soft FM procurement portfolio.


As part of this you’ll:



Lead and manage tactical procurement projects (up to £250k), ensuring compliance with sourcing processes and governance.
Support Category Managers on larger procurement projects, contributing to sourcing strategy and contract execution.
Collaborate with stakeholders across our business units to capture requirements and develop effective RFx (Request for Proposal) documentation.
Conduct market research, source new suppliers, and manage supplier engagement from RFx through to contract award.
Negotiate pricing and terms using Serco’s Legal Empowerment Toolkit, and support drafting and signing of contracts.
Optimise supplier performance, drive value for money, and support delivery of measurable procurement benefits.

What you’ll need to do the role:



At least 2 years' experience in a sourcing or procurement role, ideally within facilities management or a related field.
Solid understanding of sourcing processes, supplier negotiations, and contract lifecycle management.
Experience using eSourcing tools and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Power BI experience is a plus.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive, collaborative approach with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
