Plus generous benefits including: • 45 days annual leave per year pro rata (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)• Generous Occupational Pension SchemeAbout the roleYork College is seeking a highly professional and organised College & Leadership Administrative Services Co-ordinator to provide exceptional administrative support to our Strategic Leadership Team (SLT), Governors, and wider college teams. This is a pivotal role contributing to the smooth running of college operations and enhancing the student experience. The role is extremely varied with plenty of opportunities to get involved with different departments and activities and as such, does require a strong element of flexibility.About the PersonWe have a great opportunity for a proactive colleague to provide high-level administrative support to SLT and wider college teams. You will have experience of working in a busy office environment with strong computer literacy, especially in MS Office. Previous experience of working in a support / PA role would be an advantage. Able to handle confidential information professionally, you will be comfortable working independently and using your own initiative. You will have excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills and be able to manage diaries, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple demands. This is a great stepping stone if you're interested in progressing in administration or exploring leadership support roles, giving you exposure to many different aspects of college operations.About the CollegeWe are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more one million people. Each year, we have approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students studying with us. Our wide range of education options span entry level programmes through to degrees, higher technical qualifications, and accredited professional courses to courses for professional development. Our apprenticeships can be studied from level 2 to level 5 across a range of different career pathways.
