Summary
Applicants must be an RNLD/ have a Diploma in Learning Disability Nursing and be registered with the NMC. You will be responsible for managing a busy caseload To work autonomously and also as a member of the team To work intensively to provide assessment and treatment to individuals within the community who may be experiencing mental health issues or displaying behaviours that challenge. To work with patients, families, carers, social care and external providers To be duty worker responsible for managing the shift You will participate fully as a multidisciplinary team member working in partnership with social care and voluntary/independent sector providers. To work shifts (including a long day) to cover a 7 day service . This will include some unsocial and weekend work. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies
