Summary
Contract: PermanentHours: 28 hours 45 mins. 8:30am-3:15pm Monday-Friday with 1 hour lunchbreak. (Term time only)Salary: Hay 8 scale point 20-24 (£31,586 - £34,314 pro rata) depending on experienceStart date: 1/9/25
We are looking to appoint an excellent, experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide cover and support for whole classes across the school. The successful applicant will cover PPA, as well as staff absences. We are looking for a committed person who: - is committed to supporting the strong Christian ethos of the school; - has a wider knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies; - has experience of working throughout the primary phase; - has experience of teaching whole classes and groups; - is committed to the well-being of all children and puts children’s needs at the centre of everything they do The successful candidate has to have excellent interpersonal skills and be flexible as there will be times when plans may have to change at the last minute. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment and all appointments will be subject to appropriate vetting, including an enhanced DBS disclosure check.
