Teaching Assistant – supporting a child one to one, in EYFS / Key Stage 1
Salary: £12.21 Per Hour
Time Commitment: Term time only, full time for the first term . Job share considered.
To be reviewed on a termly basis, taking into account the needs of the childThe Role: To support a child throughout the school day in order for them to access all areas of the EYFS / Key Stage 1 curriculum, but in particular help develop communication and language and social skills.Provide support at playtime and lunchtime in order to help keep the child safe while outsideAlongside the class teacher and SENDCo, help assess, plan and prepare activities to support the child with their development in all areas of the curriculum.This role requires working in collaboration with others and taking responsibility for working in line with regulatory requirements and The Froebelian School policies and procedures to develop the strength and reputation the Froebelian School brand retains.Duties and Responsibilities Support and promote diversity and equality Work as part of a team Demonstrate a proactive approach in all areas of your work Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and outside agenciesUnderstand the good practice of the EYFS framework and Key Stage 1 CurriculumUnderstand importance of keeping children safe and have a good understanding of the safeguarding policyUnderstand and implement positive behaviour techniquesDeadline Date Tuesday 8th July 2025
