Summary
Christ the Word Catholic School is situated in Rhyl and has been established since 2019, providing inclusive education to 900+ pupils from the ages of 3 to 16 in a modern school setting.We are currently seeking a passionate, resilient, empathetic individual to lead in a bespoke provision of support for learners with very high level of behavioural, social and emotional needs from years 7 through to 11.The successful candidate will:
• Build positive relationships with our learners and support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.• Implement individual behaviour support plans and emotional literacy strategies.• Promote engagement in learning through adaptive, trauma-informed approaches• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral and safeguarding teams to ensure the best outcomes for each student.• Provide 1:1 and small group support
