Are you a meticulous CAD Technician or Designer with a passion for technical detailing? Do you enjoy translating creative concepts into precision-engineered drawings that bring spaces to life? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We are a forward-thinking company based in High Wycombe, specialising in acoustic treatments, blinds, and curtains for high-specification environments. Known for our commitment to best-practice installations and exceptional outcomes, we’re expanding our technical team and are looking for a detail-driven CAD Technician/Designer to help us deliver excellence across every project.

The Role

As a CAD Technician/Designer, you will play a key role in producing high-quality CAD drawing packs to support the planning and delivery of our bespoke installation solutions. This is an office-based role with occasional client coordination meetings, where your input will help shape the technical direction of our projects.

You'll report directly to the Technical Director and collaborate with our in-house design team to ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and aligned with both client expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • CAD Design & Drafting: Create precise technical drawing packs for acoustic, blind, and curtain installations using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms.

  • Technical Detailing: Produce accurate details including trims, build-ups, setting out, and wiring schematics.

  • Collaboration: Liaise closely with the design team and Technical Director to meet project requirements.

  • Client Coordination: Attend project meetings to discuss design requirements, offer technical guidance, and align installation expectations.

  • Documentation & Standards: Ensure all drawings are well-documented, compliant with internal standards, and support installation quality.

  • Quality Control: Uphold high levels of accuracy, detail, and compliance with industry norms.

    What We’re Looking For
    • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).

    • Solid understanding of technical design in the built environment—experience with acoustic treatments, blinds, or curtain systems is a strong advantage.

    • Excellent attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and client interaction.

    • Comfortable attending client meetings and representing technical design requirements clearly.

    • Background in architectural or interior technical design is desirable.

      What We Offer
      • Competitive Salary: £35,000 depending on experience

      • ️ Holidays: 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays

      • Career Development: Real opportunities to grow as the company expands

      • Collaborative Culture: Supportive, close-knit team environment

      • Professional Growth: Exposure to a variety of high-level technical design areas

      • Great Location: Centrally based in High Wycombe with strong transport links
