About RJ4All
Restorative Justice for All (RJ4All) is a charitable, user-led international institute with a vision of a world that embraces the restorative justice values of power-sharing, fairness, equality, dignity and respect and where power abuse is rooted out. We pursue our vision by using the power of dialogue, education, sports, and art through the ethos of restorative justice.

The RJ4All Headquarters are in London at the RJ4All Rotherhithe Community Centre and we have a sister organisation based in Cyprus, “RJ4All Europe”.

Our mission centres on addressing power abuse, conflict, and poverty through the application of restorative justice values and practices. We advance equality, community cohesion, and human rights through multiple interconnected approaches. Our work encompasses delivering social justice and poverty relief projects, alongside educational programmes and youth clubs+ that foster understanding and growth. We facilitate intercultural dialogue initiatives and awareness-raising workshops while providing high-quality internships and volunteering opportunities that empower individuals to create positive change.

Job Overview
We are seeking 2-3 qualified London-based Restorative Justice Practitioners, including 1 Senior Restorative Justice Practitioner, who will work with the casework team at RJ4All to deliver safe, compliant and relevant restorative justice practice to affected parties through direct (victim-offender mediation, family group conferencing, circles) and indirect (letters, virtual meetings) interventions. Based on our current practitioner needs, individuals will be (1) Experienced practicing restorative justice in 1 or more of the 3 casework areas: gender-based violence, hate crime and community tension (2) Able to deliver casework services in London, preference being for in-person delivery and (3) Ready to work on cases immediately.

The practitioner(s) will primarily focus on using their expertise to deliver the Preparatory, Encounter and Follow-up stages of our Restorative Casework Process in partnership with RJ4All’s casework team

At RJ4All, we adopted the RJ4All Restorative Justice Practice Framework. Willingness to abide by it is a pre-requisite.

Key Tasks
Support the implementation of RJ4All's restorative justice casework journey
Read and comply with the Restorative Justice Practice Framework
Read and comply with the practitioner’s guide to implementing restorative justice
Assess the readiness of casework parties for restorative justice, through all stages
Conduct formal assessments of parties and keep detailed, secure records of information
Track and monitor casework progress using agreed case management tools
Plan and prepare for the Encounter Stage according to the needs and risks of all parties
Establish whether direct/indirect and which restorative justice practice is relevant
Facilitate a safe, compliant and empowering restorative justice intervention for parties
Work with RJ4All to support casework parties through signposting, wrap-around services
Maintain strong communication with RJ4All on case progress throughout all stages
Produce a report on parties’ agreements where successful or reasons for discontinuing
Establish whether continuous support is needed, type, and referral source to allocate
Qualifications & Prerequisites
At RJ4All, we take restorative justice case work seriously whether this involves a case within our outside the formal justice system. Membership to various registers or organisations is not considered by RJ4All as proof of experience.

We are seeking experienced restorative justice practitioners who can demonstrate their work and understanding of restorative justice. Membership to RJ4All’s International Fellowship of Restorative Justice Practitioners (IFRJP) is required (or appointment will be contingent on approval). This involves an independent review of their work by a panel of international experts and it is a free initiative.

They need to be able to work independently and professionally on sensitive cases. You must have hands-on experience in delivering restorative justice interventions—such as victim-offender mediation or family group conferencing—and ideally have worked with cases involving gender-based violence, hate crime, or community tensions. A strong commitment to restorative justice values, capacity to work in diverse communities, and willingness to be available for in-person casework in London are essential.
