Summary

Job Title: Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler
Location: Droitwich
Shift Pattern: 39 hours per week
. Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
. Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
. Overtime available at enhanced rates (x1.5 Mon-Sat, x2 Sunday)
Salary:
. Grade 1: ?31,195.50 per annum (?15.38 per hour)
. Grade 2: ?29,604.00 per annum (?14.60 per hour)
. Salary progression possible based on performance, attendance, and approach

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler to join our team. This role involves manufacturing large industrial panels by assembling capacitors, inductors, transformers, and control wiring from schematic drawings. The position also includes bus bar and manifold forming, as well as building subassemblies from technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
. Read, interpret, and work from schematic and engineering drawings to assemble components.
. Drill, tap back plates, and install trunking for panel assembly.
. Carry out panel wiring, including crimping, soldering, terminating, and stripping wires.
. Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
. Follow quality control procedures and report any process or equipment issues.
. Conduct set-ups, alignments, and adjustments to maintain required tolerances.

. Complete daily production logs and process documentation
Requirements:
. Previous experience in Electrical Fitting, Panel Wiring, or Panel Building is advantageous.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
. Good verbal and written communication skills.
. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under tight timescales with attention to detail.
. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
. Flexible and enthusiastic approach to changing priorities.
. Willingness to learn and improve.
Benefits:
. 33 days holiday per year (including statutory holidays) with additional leave for long service:
o +2 days at 5 years, +3 days at 10 years (max 38 days total)
. Pension Contribution: 5% employee, 4% employer, plus a discretionary annual pension bonus of up to 10%.
. Regular overtime opportunities after 14 weeks of employment.
