Hours: 25 hours a week (5 hours daily)

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join us for 25 hours per week. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting all pupils including those with additional needs. In this role, you would be working within a fantastic, supportive and welcoming team. Applicants will need to be enthusiastic, positive and able to work on your own initiative as well as follow direction.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
Experience supporting children with complex health needs in a school or nursery setting
A strong understanding of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) frameworks and inclusive education practices
Knowledge of relevant medical protocols, feeding plans, or mobility support strategies—and a calm, caring approach under pressure
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with teachers, parents/carers, and external professionals
The ability to build nurturing, consistent relationships with the child, promoting their independence and confidence
Adaptability, patience, and a positive, proactive attitude to help meet both educational and healthcare goals
