A leading main dealer in Exeter is seeking a qualified and experienced Van Mechanic / LCV Technician to join their growing service team. If you’ve got a Level 3 qualification and a background in light commercial vehicles, this is a brilliant opportunity to work in a professional, well-equipped workshop with full manufacturer support.
Key Responsibilities of a Van Mechanic / LCV Technician
• Service, repair and maintain light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using modern diagnostic tools
• Accurately complete job cards and service reports
• Follow company and manufacturer procedures, including warranty processes
• Work closely with the parts team to ensure timely supply of components
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Van Mechanic, LCV Technician or Vehicle Technician
• Confident with diagnostics, fault finding and electrical work
• MOT licence is desirable but not essential
• Strong team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude
