Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bouncing Beanz After School and Holiday Club in Maiden Newton. Bouncing Beanz is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and creative Manager to work at our After School and Holiday Club. Bouncing Beanz is part of Maiden Newton Childcare Provision (MNCP) which is a Committee led Charity Incorporated Organisation (C.I.O).
The Manager position for Bouncing Beanz will start as soon as possible and requires after school care Monday - Friday afternoons, term time only. Holiday work is flexible and dependent on the number of children attending sessions.
The successful candidate will need to work in close partnership with our Committee, overall manager and small team of staff to be overly responsible for:
The planning, organising, co-ordinating and overall control of the day to day running of Bouncing Beanz.
Operating the service according to relevant policies and procedures, particularly ensuring compliance with health and safety and safeguarding.
Managing the supervision, care and welfare of the children, liaising with MNCP colleagues and parents and outside agencies as required.
Managing, motivating and developing an effective team.
Maintaining accurate records of attendance, registration and fees.
Ensuring materials and equipment are in good and useable condition and overseeing the replacements/stock/resources as required.
Organising the provision of meals, snacks and refreshments to meet the children’s dietary needs.
You should hold an appropriate childcare qualification or have proven evidence of working towards the qualification. eg CACHE level 3 or 4. Some experience of a managerial role, SENCO, Safeguarding and a paediatric first aid certificate would be desirable but not essential as the Committee will ensure full training is given.
