Summary
As part of ongoing investment into services for people with learning disabilities and / or autism, the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board have commissioned a Care and Treatment Review Hub (CTR Hub) to provide management, support, oversight and administration of CTRs across Greater Manchester.
Care and Treatment Reviews (CTRs) were developed as part of NHS England’s commitment to transforming services for people of all ages with a learning disability and autistic people. CTRs are for people who have been admitted to a mental health hospital or for people who are at risk of admission.They were designed to bring an additional challenge and scrutiny to existing health and care review processes, an alternative perspective and expert insight.
This post offers candidates an opportunity to lead on the development and mobilisation of a new service, working in collaboration with local place based commissioners, service providers, service users, their families and carers to deliver quality and timely CTRs, that are person centered and have a positive impact on a person's life.
When fully operational, the hub will participate and lead in the development of quality standards, and relevant governance or assurance activities.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the development of staff and for the effective delivery of high quality Care and Treatment Reviews. You will report directly to the Clinical Services Manager within the Secure Care Division and work in close partnerships with the Greater Manchester Specialist Support Team, the Integrated Care Board, and Service Leads across the Greater Manchester region.

Main Responsibilities:
· To provide consistent access to high quality and timely CTR’s in adherence to standards and best practice guidance
· To ensure recommendations from CTR’s are followed and outcomes achieved
· To promote a culture of openness and acceptance of other views (civility contract)
· Provide training and awareness or CTR’s across Greater Manchester including into non-NHS provision where care to the population group is delivered
· To ensure CTR documentation is provided, including accessible/ plain English versions
· Triangulate quality issues, establish mechanisms for escalating and contribute to service improvement planning within the ICB and nationally
• Participate with a lead role in the GM Oversight Panel, including regular reporting, highlighting quality assurance intelligence, working to address problems and providing recommendations for improvement.
