A bit about us:
Camfaud Group is the largest concrete pump hire company in the UK. Camfaud Group employs over 300 staff across various depots across the UK and due to our continued expansion, we are actively seeking Yard Person to join our team in Astley.
The role
We are now looking for a yard person to join our Astley depot to ensure the smooth day to day operations by maintaining the yard, workshop and loading/unloading of equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
· Ensuring the yard, workshop and office areas are kept tidy.
· Cleaning Machines.
· Loading / unloading of equipment. Crane experience is preferred but not essential.
· Forklift driving. Experience is preferred but not essential.
· Monitoring stocks on fluids & ancillary equipment.
· Maintaining knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements in relation to your role.
· Perform routine hose testing to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with standards
· Delivering parts to site and assisting fitters on site.
· Assisting fitters as required in the workshop.
· Representing Premier Concrete Pumping in a professional and knowledgeable way.
· General yard and workshop maintenance as required.
What we’re looking for from the successful candidate:
If you have a methodical and conscientious approach to your work, are confident and self-reliant and enjoy a variety of work from day to day, this could be the job for you.
· Good time management.
· Full UK Driving Licence.
· Forklift driving. Experience is preferred but not essential.
· Good Team Player.
Hours:
7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday inclusive with a lunch break of 30 mins with two 15 min breaks.
