TeacherActive is proud to be working alongside a vibrant and ambitious secondary school in the Mid Devon area. We are currently recruiting for a skilled and passionate Design Technology Teacher to join the team on a long-term, full-time basis, starting this September.

The Role:
We are looking for a confident DT Teacher with the ability to deliver engaging, workshop-based lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). The ability to teach Key Stage 5 (KS5) would be advantageous but is not essential. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge and a desire to deliver lessons that inspire creativity and technical skills.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Design Technology (ECTs are encouraged to apply)

  
  

• At least 6 months of experience teaching Design Technology up to KS4

  
  

• Ability to plan and deliver practical, workshop-focused lessons

  
  

• Up-to-date knowledge of curriculum developments within DT

  
  

• A commitment to building respectful, positive relationships with students
