Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic applicants keen to develop their teaching skills. As the successful candidate you will be joining the Applied Mathematics Group in delivering our quality applied mathematics degree programmes at undergraduate level. They will have the opportunity to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, be involved with our mathematics student society activities, and to engage externally through contributing to industrial networks, masterclasses and summer schools.
You will also be encouraged to pursue a personal research programme consistent with the Schools research priorities and to publish the outcomes of research in outlets of international standing.
You will hold a PhD in Mathematics or Physics. A demonstrated track record of independent working, time management and successful delivery of objectives is also required, together with excellent written and oral communication skills.
