Summary
Safeguard is the UK's premier provider of call handling and customer support services exclusively to the new-build housing market. Based in Chester Le Street, County Durham, calls are taken from homeowners nationally who have an emergency defect out of hours.
Our highly trained agents determine the nature and priority of the issue and pass the information to designated contractors-plumbers, electricians etc
Vacancy details
We are looking to recruit call handlers to join this exciting operation, and have a range of permanent vacancies.. Various positions are available covering evenings and weekends on a flexible rota basis. Please note this is based in our offices at Chester le Street, there is no remote working for this position.
Essential skill
You will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, enthusiastic with an eye for detail, with the ability to prioritise your time effectively. You should enjoy solving problems along with the experience to be able to control conversations. You will be confident in your approach, being able to demonstrate effective listening and questioning skills, and have a natural ability to empathise with your customer .
Basic computer skills will be required and full training is provided.
Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls during out-of-hours periods, providing excellent customer service and support.
Utilize computer systems to log calls and track issues efficiently.
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients to gather information and resolve concerns.
Maintain accurate records of all interactions and ensure timely follow-up as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and address any escalated issues.
