Summary


• Greeting guests: Making a great first impression by welcoming guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Managing reservations: Taking bookings and cancellations by phone, email, or in person, and recording the information in a computer system
• Checking guests in and out: Assigning rooms, handing over keys, and ensuring that all guest information is accurate and up to date
• Answering questions: Providing information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, transportation, and directions
• Handling special requests: Dealing with requests for taxi bookings.
• Processing payments: Preparing bills, taking payments, and returning deposits
• Maintaining a clean and organized front desk: Keeping the front desk area tidy and organized
• Coordinating with other hotel departments: Working with other hotel staff to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay
• Using hotel management software: Using software for check-ins, check-outs, and guest information
• Cleaning Duties Customer toilets cleaned, work surfaces, keeping floors clean, Emptying bins.
• Serving on the Bar
• Fire walks
• Reporting any Health & Safety Issues to GM or Assistant GM.
• Up selling to the guest such as Breakfast
• Cooking Breakfast Clearing up afterwards and adhering to strict hygiene regulations. Setting up the cold Breakfast.
• Linen to be taken upstairs
• Ironing shower curtains/ removing cloths from the washing machine and taking cups out of the dish washer.
• Complete jobs given by the management & Supervisor
