Summary
We are looking for a GP to cover our EA session every Thursday. Appointments would start at 4:00 pm through to 8:00 pm. The appointments before 6.00 pm would be booked on the day as second on duty and where we can, we try to book these as phone calls. There will be spaces in the rota to be used by you to book telephone patients in if you decide you need to see them. Appointments from 6.30 pm onwards are pre booked by the Reception Team and are rarely face to face. You would not be expected to have a patient list. You would be part of a blood buddy group who would check your results and deal with anything urgent for you. Other results will be left for you to deal with each week. You would not be asked to do home visits (unless we had a major issue and no one else could go). You would not be on call but some of your appointments would be as our second on GP as stated previously who is there to support the duty GP.
