Summary
Haxey Pre-School CIO is looking for a motivated apprentice to join their team to complete a level 3 apprenticeship, partnering with Realise.
You will be required to;
*Support children who are experiencing transitions such as moving to school or birth of a sibling, using your knowledge of the children to support them
*Carry out respectful care routines such as feeding and nappy changing
*Take an active part in the completion of their apprenticeship, meeting deadlines set by their trainer assessor and working with the dedicated mentor to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours
*Support children’s numeracy, literacy and language through a range of play activities and opportunities
*Be a key person to child(ren), supporting their individual learning and next steps, completing paper work and assessments in line with the EYFS
Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Haxey's dedicated training provider, Realise.

GCSE's desirable but not essential
Skills required
Self-motivation
•Good communication skills
•Ability to meet strict deadlines
•Time management
•Willing to undertake paediatric first aid training
Prospects
Could lead to a full time job position. Progressing onto a higher qualification level.
Qualification / Standard : ST0135 Early years educator
Duration 15 months
You will be required to;
