PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT A PICKER IN A WAREHOUSE JOB. IT IS PICKING IMPURITIES OUT OF SHEEP WOOL ON A CONVEYOR BELT.
Haworth Scouring Company Ltd. is a well-established, successful commission processor of wool. The largest of its kind with modern wool scouring and wool combing equipment processing wools from around the world which are supplied to customers around the world.
The Bradford based business is planning a further expansion and is currently looking for committed, enthusiastic machine operatives to join our team in a fast paced production environment.
The Position
Picking Line Machine Operatives required for shift work. Hours of work 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, rotating shifts Monday-Friday or nights 10pm-6am Monday-Friday.
Immediate start available.
Must be hardworking and reliable. Must be willing to work in a dirty, dusty and warm environment. This role involves standing at the end of a conveyor belt for most of the 8 hour shift and some physical work unblocking machines if a blockage occurs.
Successful applicants must be able to read and understand English (this will be tested).
